5:00 PM Farmers' Market at the Bell Tower on Historic Main Street

 The Farmers' Market at Bell Tower on Historic Main Street, in Placerville, is slated to begin June 13 and run through the last Wednesday of September.  It starts at 5:00 pm and runs til dusk.

The county library is bringing Mrs. Houston to Placerville to speak about her experiences during her family's internment at Manzanar during 1942-1945, an interesting piece of US and CA history brought to life for her listeners. She is the author of the book, "Farewell to Manzanar". She will speak to the community on Wednesday, September 26 at 7 p.m. in the El Dorado Adventist School gym at 1900 Broadway, Placerville.
